The company is now said to have developed its own mobile phone chip.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><\/p>\n<p>Without a cellular modem, the iPhone cannot connect to the outside world. In recent years, Qualcomm was the main supplier of communications chips. The collaboration with the chip manufacturer was terminated due to a patent war. Apple believes that Qualcomm is demanding license fees that are far too high - the semiconductor manufacturer is abusing its market power, according to Apple. That is why the iGroup has made chip manufacturer Intel its main supplier.
