While Apple has already introduced the 24" iMac and brand new MacBook Pro models, a larger iMac with a new design is still pending. Now there are new details about the features and the possible launch.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The well-known and accurate display analyst Ross Young has Twitter<\/a> released new information about the next iMac model. In it, he stated that a 27\u2033 iMac is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2022 and will be equipped with advanced technologies. The analyst and CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants explained opposite<\/a> MacRumors that the desktop will feature mini-LED technology. So far, all Apple products with mini-LED screens - from the Pro Display XDR to the 12.9-inch iPad Pro to the new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models - have received the XDR branding, suggesting that the new iMac will follow suit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The iMac model is also said to be equipped with ProMotion, which enables dynamic refresh rates from 24 Hz to 120 Hz. Apple's iPhone 13 Pro and the recently released MacBook Pro models are the latest devices to feature variable refresh rate technology. Since Young has a pretty good track record when it comes to Apple leaks, there is little doubt about his prediction at the moment. Of course, one should always remain skeptical.
