Apple today updated its website to include a \u201cCelebrating Steve\u201d video featuring iconic moments from Steve Jobs\u2019 life and career and a statement from his family.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ten years after the death of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, Apple has redesigned the homepage of its homepage<\/a> switched to two memorial events. A nearly three-minute video address and a personal message from Laurene Powell Jobs and the rest of the family. The letter states:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a decade, grief and healing have gone hand in hand. Our gratitude is as great as our loss. Each of us has found our own path to comfort, but we have come together in a beautiful place of love for Steve and what he taught us.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Celebrating Steve chronicles Jobs' life through images, video and voice-over, showing his key thoughts as well as famous moments, including the unveiling of the original Mac, the iMac, the iPod and, of course, the iPhone. In the video, Steve Jobs says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you grow up, you're often told that the world is what it is, and your life is about living your life in that world and trying not to hit the walls too much. But life can be much more comprehensive when you discover one simple fact. And that is that everything you call life was invented by people who were no smarter than you. And you can change it. After a long battle with cancer, Jobs resigned as CEO of Apple on August 24, 2011. He planned to continue as chairman of the board. Unfortunately, Jobs died just a few months later, on October 5, 2011, just one day after the iPhone 4S was announced. At that time, Jobs was too ill to attend the keynote speech himself.
