Apple has now updated iMovie and Clips, adding support for several iPhone 13 features.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

iMovie now supports Cinematic Mode and can be used to add, adjust, and delete focus points and change the depth of field effect in Cinematic Mode videos. Cinematic Mode is a feature available on all iPhone 13 models, but footage can also be edited on iPhone XS or later, iPad mini 5 or later, iPad Air 3 or later, and all iPad Pro models. The update also includes the option to add ProRAW images to movies and trailers, as well as options to import and edit ProRes videos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iMovie & Clips now support iPhone 13 features<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

ProRes video is a feature coming to the iPhone 13 Pro models later this year that will allow the devices to record in ProRes format. ProRes videos can be recorded on an iPhone 13 Pro and edited on the iPhone 13, iPad mini 6, and iPad Pro when the feature is launched. As for Clips, Cinematic mode videos can also be imported and edited in the app. Filters, stickers, and emoji can be added to videos recorded in the new mode. Once ProRes is available, corresponding videos can also be imported into Clips and edited directly in the app. Today's update also adds the option to add photos or videos from the Photos library with a single tap, without having to include each one in a project.
