Apple announced in a short message on the developer website that app developers will now have access to a new advertising tool. Below is an overview.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new marketing tool creates images using four templates, three colors, and various image sizes. Simply select the platform and search for any app to generate multiple social media-friendly images. Apple writes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can now easily create custom marketing assets\u2014like banners and images\u2014to promote your apps on social media and more. Simply select your app, choose a template, customize your design, and add preset messages in multiple languages. Your assets are instantly available in the right size, making sharing easier than ever. You can also continue to use these App Store marketing tools to create short links or embeddable code that lead to your App Store product page and display your app icon, a QR code, or an App Store badge.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Templates include promoting a new app, an app update, a subscription offer, or a completely new offer. The text and formatting are not customizable. The background color, however, can be set as light, dark, or blue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Developers can choose between a square post, a story post, a landscape banner ad, a portrait banner ad, or a link card preview. After selecting the template options, the marketing assets are available via download, link, or short link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
