The wireless headphones were introduced on September 7, 2016 and have been on sale since December 2016. They are still very popular today.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Only recently, an entry about the AirPods 2 was published in the SIG (Bluetooth Special Interest Group<\/a><\/em>) database. There was plenty of speculation about a market launch this autumn. Even the well-informed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo thought it was possible \u2013 alternatively, spring 2019 would be an option. But now the well-known leaker Ice universe<\/em> the topic has been brought up again. According to him, the AirPods 2 should be released this year. Observers, however, consider this rather unlikely. Nevertheless, many fans would be happy about it. Apple's books should also benefit from the additional Christmas business. It remains to be seen whether Apple will surprise us with a late "one more thing".<\/p>\n
