Despite reported production issues with the Apple Watch Series 7, Apple is reportedly sticking to its plan to unveil the new smartwatch in the middle of the month. However, it will be available in very limited quantities at launch, according to Mark Gurman.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the latest output<\/a> In his "Power On" newsletter, Bloomberg journalist and Apple leaker Mark Gurman outlines three possible scenarios: The Apple Watch Series 7 announcement is delayed while production issues are resolved, the announcement is brought forward and the device is only available in limited quantities, or the device is announced but does not go on sale until a later date. However, Gurman believes the product will be announced as part of the September event, which is expected on September 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My colleague Debby Wu and I have reported that the new display is causing problems in production. When this happens with a new product, there are usually three possibilities: the announcement is delayed until the problems are resolved, the product is released on time in small quantities, or the device is announced on time but goes on sale later. I expect we'll see an announcement during the usual September event along with the iPhone, but there will be a mix of models that ship late or in small quantities. The Apple Watch Series 7 is expected to have a new design with flat edges and will be available in 41 mm and 45 mm sizes. Bloomberg has already reported<\/a>that the larger display will result in new exclusive watch faces. However, no new health functions are expected among the innovations.
