The chemicals used by battery manufacturers react with saliva to create an unpleasant taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-airtag-regulierungsbeh-rde-warnt-eltern\">AirTag: Regulatory authority warns parents<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apple has now made the support page available after Australia <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apfelpatient.de\/en\/news\/airtag-battery-regulator-warns-parents\">consumer warning<\/a> urging parents to keep the AirTag away from children because the easily accessible battery poses a choking hazard. In the warning, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission cited the ease with which AirTag can be opened to reveal the small CR2032 battery. To open the AirTag, the user simply presses the stainless steel battery cover, twists it anti-clockwise until it stops rotating, and lifts it off. So the technique is pretty simple. As a result, at least one Australian retailer has pulled the product from shelves because they have the same concerns as the ACCC.
