Rumors surrounding the so-called iPhone SE 3 have been documented repeatedly in recent months. Now there are reports within the supply chain that an updated iPhone SE will be released in early 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new report, backing up recent claims by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, says Apple is planning an updated version of the entry-level iPhone. Loud<\/a> Digitimes Asia's unnamed industry sources claim that the orders for the phone will create new business for the so-called chip probing specialists. Chip probing is a part of the quality testing process. The publication's sources say this work will be carried out by Xintec. Xintec is a subsidiary of Apple's chipmaker TSMC. The Xintec subsidiary is a supplier of components for the original iPhone SE and also for the newer model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iPhone SE: The design is to be revised in 2023<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

After 5G was first integrated into Apple's iPhone 12 series last fall, it is expected that the lower-priced model will follow suit. In addition, Kuo has previously stated that the iPhone SE 2022 will have a similar design to the existing 4.7-inch iPhone SE. However, the new device will receive a processor upgrade. As for the design, another analyst pointed out back in April that the iPhone SE will get a punch-hole display in 2023.
