Apple is expected to unveil two new iPad Pro models tomorrow evening. The 12.9-inch device will be the first to use mini-LED technology.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A source that designs accessories for Apple devices told the US blog MacRumors<\/a> sent a series of photos showing the exact dimensions of the new iPad Pro models - the images themselves were not published to protect the source. Interestingly, the information matches the dimensions that Macotakara already announced in February. Be that as it may. The 12.9-inch model will therefore be 280.65 mm long, 215 mm wide and 6.4 mm thick. With the exception of the thickness, these dimensions are roughly the same as those of the current iPad Pro, which is consistent with the rumors we have already read several times. Thus, the new 12.9-inch device should be around 0.5 mm thicker than its predecessor with a thickness of 6.4 mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The change in thickness could be due to the inclusion of the MiniLED display, a feature that will only be found in the 12.9-inch model. Previous rumors have suggested that the camera lenses on the new iPad Pro models will be less prominent. The dimensions of the 11-inch device, on the other hand, are said to remain largely the same. Aside from the small design changes and the introduction of a MiniLED display on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, the new models could offer Thunderbolt connectivity and faster A14X chips on par with the M1 chips in the current Mac lineup.
