Taiwanese supplier ASE Technology has started producing optical sensors for the next generation of AirPods. The market launch is now expected in the third quarter.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Taiwanese news site DigiTimes has once again published a paid article published<\/a>, which focuses on the new AirPods. According to this, the market launch is expected in the third quarter. This statement is consistent with a previously published forecast by Ming-Chi Kuo. As a reminder: The third quarter includes the months of July, August and September. The reason for the later presentation is said to be the fact that mass production of the new plugs will not start until the third quarter. However, no specific date was given.
