Apple is rumored to be working on a virtual reality headset that will be released as early as next year. Now there's a report that offers details on the specifications and possible price.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These questions have now been addressed in a new article published by The Information published<\/a> The platform claims to have learned some details about the range of functions from a source familiar with the matter. It is claimed that the headset will be equipped with more than a dozen cameras for tracking hand movements, along with two ultra-high-resolution 8K displays and advanced eye-tracking technology. The cameras would be able to pass videos of the real world through the visor and display them to the user, creating a "mixed reality effect". The Information claims to have seen internal Apple images of a "late prototype" of the headset from last year, showing a slim, curved visor attached to the face with a mesh material and interchangeable headbands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of price, Apple is said to have discussed around $3,000 internally for the VR headset. However, the amount has not yet been decided.
