Numerous iPhone users discovered on Friday evening that they had been logged out of the Facebook app. The company is said to already know the reason.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday evening, posts appeared on social media and Reddit from iPhone users claiming that they were logged out of the Facebook app after their session expired. The login prompt appeared on their iPhone devices even though they had not logged out of their account. Users who had set up two-factor authentication for their accounts are also having trouble logging back in. The reason for this is delays in sending text messages containing the necessary verification code. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interestingly, only iPhone users are affected by this at the moment. So far, there have been no reports from Android users. While the error has been present in the official Facebook app since Friday evening, it became apparent in Facebook's Page Manager application at the beginning of the week. According to Facebook Support, they are aware of the login error.
