After some details about the upcoming MacBook Pro have already been released, details about the new iMac are now following. A new external monitor and Mac Pro are also said to be in the works.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bloomberg has already revealed details about the upcoming MacBook Pro provided<\/a>Now the news site has more details about Apple's Mac plans disclosed<\/a>According to the report, a brand new iMac will be released this year, which will have a Pro Display XDR-like design. A low-cost external monitor and a new Mac Pro are also planned. Bloomberg claims that the new iMac will have a similar design to the Pro Display XDR. This includes the removal of the "chin area" on the bottom and a flat back instead of the current curved design. It will replace the existing 21.5- and 27-inch models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new models will slim down the thick black bezels around the screen and do away with the large metal chin area in favor of a design similar to Apple's Pro Display XDR monitor. These iMacs will have a flat back, moving away from the curved back of the current iMac. Apple plans to introduce two versions - codenamed J456 and J457 - to replace the existing 21.5-inch and 27-inch models later this year.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The new design is said to be the biggest change. In addition, two new versions of the Mac Pro are also set to be released. In terms of design, one of these devices will be identical to the current model. The second device will be only half the size. The smaller Mac Pro could "evoke nostalgia for the Power Mac G4 Cube" - according to Bloomberg. The news site also claims that the large version of the Mac Pro will be released with an Intel processor, while the smaller model will be equipped with an Apple Silicon chip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
