In this project, Apple is taking the new guidelines of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as a model.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Apple wants to archive even less data from developers starting in the fall. The iGroup is emphasizing that it will destroy bug reports submitted in the future as soon as they are considered closed, are more than five years old and have not been updated for more than 60 days. This also includes system diagnostic data and other attachments. In addition, every app submission must be accompanied by an appropriate privacy policy. This must clearly state which data is stored and for what purposes. This also includes apps that can be used completely without the Internet.<\/p>\n
