Apple launched a new beta phase yesterday evening and released iOS 14.3 and iPadOS 14.3. What's new in iOS 14.3 beta? Below is a summary.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new iPhone update contains a few notable changes and improvements. In addition to various bug fixes, new features have also been discovered. But there are also exciting leaks that point to AirTags and AirPods Studio - more on that below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ProRAW support<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 As previously explained, ProRAW support for the iPhone 12 Pro (Max) has been added in iOS 14.3. Apple's ProRAW feature is a new image format that combines Apple's computational photography features with the benefits of RAW shooting. When shooting in RAW format, users usually lose the benefits of Apple's computational photography features such as Deep Fusion and Smart HDR. With the iPhone 12 Pro, users can shoot in the new Apple ProRAW format, which combines both \u2013 more about it here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iOS 14.3: Controller support is expanded<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Suggestions for third-party apps<\/em><\/strong> - In addition to ProRAW support, the update also appears to bring suggested third-party apps. According to 9to5Mac, there is code in iOS 14.3 that indicates that Apple will show third-party app options to those who update to the software. These app suggestions will only be made available in some countries where local law requires it, so users in the United States may not see the third-party app menu. It's not entirely clear which countries will see the app suggestions - although it's believed that Europe will be part of it - more about it here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Health app<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 In iOS 14.3, a new section called Pregnancy was added to the Health application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

controller support<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 Apple has expanded controller support in the new iOS version. From now on, users can connect the DualSense controller, which was released with the PlayStation 5, to the iPhone or iPad. Amazon's Luna controller is also supported under iOS 14.3.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

app clips<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 Circular App Clip QR codes can now be scanned using the Camera app or the QR code scanner in Control Center.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

default search engine<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 Ecosia can be set as the default search engine in iOS 14.3, alternatively to Google, Yahoo, Bing and DuckDuckGo.
