Apple's new 13-inch MacBook Pro and 13-inch MacBook Air models are equipped with the brand new M1 chip. The first Apple Silicon processor not only brings impressive performance improvements but also significantly extends battery life.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple wants to set new standards with the brand new M1 processor. Both the MacBook Air and the Pro version as well as the Mac mini were equipped with the new chip equipped<\/a>The M1 increases performance considerably \u2013 but energy efficiency also benefits enormously. But that's not all. When needed, the new devices also use the four high-performance cores of the M1 chip to enable more demanding tasks and better CPU performance. Apple promises that the M1 chip offers up to 3.5x faster CPU performance, 6x faster GPU performance, and up to 15x faster machine learning.
