According to rumors and previous leaks, Apple plans to ship the iPhone 12 with a brand new charging cable. Now, more images have surfaced showing the said charging cable in a braided style.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple will most likely ship the iPhone 12 series without EarPods and charging adapters. At least that is what leakers claim. However, there are also indications that suggest this. For example, the Apple Watch Series 6 will be shipped without an adapter. As part of the last digital keynote explained<\/a> the company:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In keeping with Apple's commitment to the environment, Apple Watch Series 6 features industry-leading levels of recycled content: 100 percent recycled rare earth elements in the Taptic Engine, nearly 100 percent recycled tungsten throughout the product, and a 100 percent recycled casing on aluminum models. Apple is also helping protect the environment by removing the power adapter, which could become electronic waste, from Apple Watch Series 6 packaging and supporting its Apple Watch manufacturing partners in their transition to renewable energy.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

iPhone 12 with braided charging cable?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Although the packaging is to be reduced, Apple plans to include a higher quality charging cable. The Lightning to USB-C cable is to be braided. Given the fact that many users are dissatisfied with the previous charging cables, the step would make sense. Now the anonymous leaker Mr. White has posted new pictures on Twitter divided<\/a>which show the cable in white. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Braided cable designs have the potential to be more durable than the standard rubber-coated cables, which tend to fray at the edges after a few months of use.
