Rumors that Apple is working on a new charging mat have been circulating since the beginning of this year. Now a video has surfaced that could show an unknown wireless charging puck for the iPhone.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After Apple launched the AirPower project in March 2019<\/span><\/a> had to give up, there was silence on the subject for several months. Around a year later<\/span><\/a> Reports have been documented that the company is now working on a new wireless charger that is said to be "less ambitious". Now a video has been sent to 9to5mac sent<\/span><\/a>, which shows an unknown wireless charging puck for the iPhone that could have come from Apple. However, this cannot be verified with certainty. Previous reports have also hinted at an accessory that roughly matches this product. The new AirPower-like charging mat is said to be smaller and have fewer features. There is also another clue that is likely to fuel speculation. In August, it was reported that the iPhone 12 could be equipped with a circular arrangement of magnets, perhaps in an effort to facilitate wireless charging similar to the Apple Watch.
