At the beginning of the year, TV manufacturer LG promised that it would offer AirPlay 2 and HomeKit support on older devices in addition to the Apple TV app. But last week a statement was made that has now been corrected.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With AirPlay 2, users can stream videos, music, podcasts and more directly from an iPhone, iPad or Mac to a compatible LG Smart TV device without the need for an Apple TV. When it was announced that LG TVs from 2018 would also receive AirPlay 2 & HomeKit, the fans were extremely happy.
