Apple today released the fifth beta of iOS 14 and more for developers published<\/span><\/a>Functions have been updated and improved.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple currently updates the preview of the new operating systems every two weeks. The further the whole thing progresses, the less innovations<\/span><\/a> are being implemented. But even today, some changes and improvements have been made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple News Widget<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 The Apple News widget has a new option for a larger view. However, the size of the widget prevents you from freely choosing where you want it to be, so it can only be used on the home screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

widget privacy <\/em><\/strong>- For apps that use location, there is now a pop-up asking users if they want to allow widgets for those apps to also use location data. Widgets can use location data for up to 15 minutes when enabled. In addition, widgets will now be mentioned in the location services privacy settings for apps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

widgets<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 The weather widget has been fixed again and is updated at more reasonable intervals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

alarm clock, motion notifications and more<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Alarm clock<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 When setting an alarm in the Clock app, users can usually swipe through the alarm wheel with one finger. Unlike in iOS 13.6, this appears much smaller in iOS 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

movement notifications<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 The motion alert interface has changed in iOS 14 beta 5. When users tap Enable Motion Alerts, they will see an option to select a country, region, or state. Users will then be informed if there is a corresponding motion alert app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HomeKit Control Center<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 HomeKit Favorites in Control Center now feature smaller tiles and smarter organization, providing one-tap access to more shortcuts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hidden photo albums<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 In Settings, users can now disable the hidden album in the Photos app. To do so, open iOS Settings, scroll down to Photos and look for \u201cHidden Album.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
