But the big highlight is the new sleep monitoring. It has been reported for years, there have been leaks and countless rumors. Now the time has finally come. With watchOS 7, the Apple Watch will finally get native sleep monitoring. However, this should work in conjunction with iOS 14. The aim of the function is to ensure that users get the best possible sleep. It should be possible for the Apple Watch to help users fall asleep. For example, alarms are set and the "Do Not Disturb" function is activated. As soon as sleep mode is activated, the smartwatch's display remains turned off. The wearer is then woken up either by an alarm tone or by haptic feedback from the watch.
