Now reports are being documented that users are having problems with USB 2.0 accessories.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier this year, Apple launched both the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro 13\u2033 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apfelpatient.de\/en\/news\/officially-apple-announces-new-macbook-pro-13\" class=\"ek-link\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\" class=\"ek-underline\">updated<\/span><\/a>But apparently there is a strange problem. Users on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/mac\/comments\/gp5b1z\/usb_20_issues_on_new_macbook_pro_13_2020\/\" class=\"ek-link\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\" class=\"ek-underline\">Reddit<\/span><\/a> as well as Apple&#039;s <a href=\"https:\/\/discussions.apple.com\/thread\/251356598\" class=\"ek-link\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\" class=\"ek-underline\">support website <\/span><\/a>report a bug with USB 2.0 accessories that are connected to one of the two devices via a hub or adapter. Strictly speaking, the accessories are not recognized in most cases. The descriptions sometimes differ greatly from one another, which is why a pattern cannot be recognized - except that it only occurs with USB 2.0. The bug also seems to occur randomly at different times.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A bug in macOS?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>All kinds of devices that use USB-A are affected, including mice, keyboards and more. A fault with the hubs can be ruled out, as they are all equally affected. There doesn&#039;t seem to be a solution. Resetting the SMC, safe mode, repairing the disk utility, various user logins and reinstalling the operating system have not helped. Replacing the devices doesn&#039;t seem to help either, as some users report.
