Apple seems to have quietly doubled the price of RAM on the MacBook Pro 13 model. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entry-level model<\/span><\/a> The MacBook Pro 13\u2033 has 8 GB RAM and can be upgraded to 16 GB RAM. The price for this upgrade was previously 125 euros. Anyone who orders the model now will have to pay 250 euros for this upgrade. The doubling of prices was not only made here, but also in other countries, such as MacRumors<\/span><\/a> reported. It is not unusual for Apple to change the price of individual components during the year. Last year, for example, the company reduced the prices of SSD storage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The culprit: COVID-19<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Such price fluctuations in components can usually be attributed to changes in supply and demand. In this case, however, the reason could be COVID-19. It is assumed that disruptions in the supply chain have reduced storage capacity and at the same time increased demand. Currently, only the entry-level model of the MacBook Pro 13" series is affected by this change. Other devices were unaffected by the change.
