If you believe them, the successor will be cheaper and smaller. Now there are new indications that it will be launched on the market soon.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to rumors, Apple is planning to introduce a new model of the HomePod. It will be smaller and cheaper than the current device. Apple wants to become more competitive because sales of the current model are not meeting expectations. The HomePod 2 will only have two tweeters and not seven like the current device. It is not known what price range the model will actually be in. Observers believe that around 199 US dollars is realistic. Now it can be observed that Apple employees will receive a discount of up to 50 percent if they want to purchase at least two or a maximum of ten of the Siri speaker. This action suggests that Apple is trying to reduce its inventory.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">HomePod 2 \u2013 market launch in autumn 2020?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/markgurman\/status\/1262393215870816257?s=21\" class=\"ek-link\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\" class=\"ek-underline\">Mark Gurman<\/span><\/a> According to an Apple expert from Bloomberg, this is an indication that the HomePod 2 will be introduced soon. It is not yet known when the new smart speaker could be officially introduced. Some believe that it could be unveiled as early as summer, while others are predicting fall 2020. Whether the new HomePod will be a bestseller remains to be seen, of course. One thing is clear: there is a lot of competition, even if Apple&#039;s solution is positioned as a premium model. It is the features and the price that are crucial to success. In recent years, Apple has made the HomePod more and more useful by adding features such as handoff support, multi-user voice recognition, ambient sounds and multi-room audio - but Siri has not been able to convince many users.
