The rumors surrounding the so-called AirPods X are moving into the next round. Now there is a new report that the market launch will be delayed. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the DigiTimes<\/span><\/span><\/a> of AirPods Pro Lite, Jon Prosser, a YouTuber and Apple leaker, simply calls them AirPods X. According to Prosser, these AirPods are based on the well-known Beats X. DigiTimes, on the other hand, believes in a slimmed down version of the AirPods Pro without further details. Both sources probably mean the same model. Whatever. DigiTimes announced some time ago that production of these new AirPods X would start between the first and second quarter of this year. But now the Taiwanese news site has retracted the statement. According to the report, there will be delays due to the current COVID-19 crisis. This means that the launch of these new Beats X-like AirPods<\/span><\/span><\/a> could take place in the second half of 2020 or early 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to AirPods X, AirPods 3 are also expected<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Prosser, on the other hand, recently reported that these new AirPods X will be released in autumn 2020. It remains to be seen which of the two will be right. DigiTimes has often been right in the past with information about new products - but when it comes to dates, the whole thing looked very modest. It is a different story for Prosser. So far, all of his statements, both dates and specifications, have turned out to be correct. Independent of the AirPods X, third-generation AirPods<\/span><\/span><\/a> According to a recent report, Apple could introduce these along with a new MacBook Pro 13-inch model sometime in May.
