Now the company has announced new measures.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2020-03-08\/apple-s-cook-offers-work-from-home-this-week-to-most-staff\">Bloomberg<\/a> According to reports, Tim Cook has sent an internal memo to his own workforce in California, Seattle, South Korea, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, Switzerland and the UK. According to the memo, employees will be able to work from home this week if their workplace allows it. They will also receive their normal hourly wages. Cook also explains other changes within the company.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Staff density is reduced<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>The memo states that staffing levels will be reduced to best prevent the spread of coronavirus in retail. This means that the number of employees in Apple stores will be temporarily reduced \u2013 both in sales and at the Genius Bar. The availability of seats at Today at Apple sessions will also be reduced. So while Apple is introducing new measures to protect its own employees, the company still has to deal with production problems. According to recent reports, the first models of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apfelpatient.de\/en\/news\/coronavirus-iphone-11-models-are-running-out\">iPhone 11<\/a> Series will be scarce \u2013 also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apfelpatient.de\/en\/rumors\/coronavirus-replacement-iphones-are-becoming-scarce\">spare parts warehouse<\/a> seems to be suffering from the coronavirus crisis. An Apple event was originally expected this month, but according to recent reports, Apple seems to have already canceled the event, as expected.
