While some major events have already been cancelled due to the coronavirus, the organizers of this year's Game Developers Show have decided to postpone the trade fair.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an official press release it was announced that the Game Developers Show 2020 will not take place in San Francisco in March as planned, but will be held in the summer. Report<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After close consultation with our partners in the game development industry and the community around the world, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Game Developers Conference in March of this year. <\/p>

Having spent the last year preparing for the show with our advisory boards, speakers, exhibitors and event partners, we are truly upset and disappointed that we cannot host you at this time.<\/p>

We want to thank all of our customers and partners for their support, open discussions, and encouragement. As everyone reminds us, great things happen when the community comes together and connects at GDC. That's why we have every intention of hosting a GDC event later this summer. We'll be working with our partners on the details and sharing more information about our plans in the coming weeks.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

How will Apple react? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Accordingly, the game developer conference GDS will not take place in March as planned. However, concrete details on the new date are to follow. In addition to the GDS, a number of important events have already been postponed, such as the F8 developer conference<\/a> Facebook and the \u201cMobile World Congress\u201d event have been cancelled.
